After the 3 weeks of snow melted, and we began to have some spring temperatures, we were able to start laying the cinderblock that will form the underground walls of our greenhouse. This was such a learning experience!!!
First, we spend about a day laying the corners, taking time to make sure that our measurements were correct, and that everything was level. We used a level, a small hammer, lots of mortar, and string.
After the corners, the rest of the block went together quickly. Even though we have been busy with other projects, the block foundation went together in a total of about 2 and one half weeks.
